Charlie`s Pizza in Washington Mills

Delivery driver never asked mygirlfriend if she wanted change. The bill was $51.xx she handed him a $50 and $20 dollar bill because she didn't have anything smaller. He left with a $20 tip because our 2 year old shut the door and her hands were too full to open it. By time she had set the food down he was gone.

The place was dirty and the food was terrible. I'd rather eat at tony's.

What a great place to eat! Food was delicious, prices great, incredible service, clean and inviting. We live in Otsego County but will certainly be back to eat again and will recommend to everyone!

Excellent food and service

The premier pizza in New Hartford, Charlies has been my go-to pizzeria for over a decade. Their pizza is delicious and flavorful, I also enioy their sandwiches, wings are decent. Their two-for-tuesday deal recently became less valuable but was fun while it lasted.

Very impressed with the service, food and delivery. We moved to Sauquoit and were very disappointed bc our only option was Grande's for delivery 😝. Everything was here on time or early and it tastes fantastic. Thank you. Word of advice, the hot peppers are HOT! 🔥

Really wanted to get a sub at 830 but when I called the person answering the phone said they were getting ready to close even though the place doesn’t actually close until 9. I asked if I could pick something up and he basically said we are getting ready to close again.

The customer service was terrible when I asked them to change my name on what the order was under because the name was completely wrong, they just talked over me on the phone. Then, when I physically came into the restaurant to make sure my order was correct since the woman on the phone over talked me, they continued to give me unneeded attitude. Never have I ever seen/received such bad attitude towards a paying customer.

The workers are very rude.

Had simple of order of garlic knots with marinara and a slice of pizza. I got the garlic knots with no maranara on the side and had to wait for the slice because they forgot to put it in the oven to warm up. The other girl looked at me like "what slice". After asking for the marinara and my slice I put back the menu because it is my first and last time I will ever go there. Counter girl was not friendly at all. No apologies, no thank you. The worst first impression I ever had. I would understand if they were actually busy. To top it off the cook was talking about how he has been sick with the bug and throwing up. I honestly didn't want the food at that point ...I was so annoyed and grossed out.

Recently got burned pizza but no biggie. Tonight ordered 2 subs, one tuna. They had my phone number but never called. When I got there the meatball sub was done but guy says out of tuna, want something else? Waited 20 minutes for 2nd meatball sub. Did they offer no charge? No. Was our favorite pizza, sub place

Sauce good. Used to put large chunks of vegetables and meat on the pizza but now way too small. Eggplant sub way too thin. Need to fry it better, thicker slices and put more on. Service good

The first time I called the guy put me on hold. I waited a good 5 minutes then decided to hang up and call back. He then answered sounding miserable said it would be about 30-45 minutes, which it took longer. My garlic knots were still extremely doughy with no sauce in the container and the pizza was cold. Mind you I called about 11:15 right around opening time. They need to hire better people with better customer service skills.

Ordered plenty of times last year. This year there was something in my pizza that shouldn't of been there so i stopped ordering. decided to give it another try the other night. Order was not done right. When called to speak to someone i never got a call back. Also reached out on FB messenger. Messages were seen but no response. Bad customer service. Waste of $29 for food i could not even eat.

I’ll be fair about this critique. I have never eaten there before until a couple of weeks ago where we ordered a few subs sandwiches, so all I can comment on is the quality of their sandwiches and not the other food. I was disappointed that they did not have a large variety of what items you could include in a sandwich like banana peppers, jalapeños, pickles, olives. Not only were the sandwiches the most blandest and tasteless I’ve ever had but the crust on the bread was tough and you had to tug on it with your teeth to get a bite of the sandwich as if it was not fresh bread. I won’t be eating there anymore

I used to buy cold subs from Charlie's, until today, because they were bigger and better than Subways. More expensive, yes, but still bigger. But they seemed to have changed the bread they use, the subs are now smaller, the same size as Subway. Only difference is, they are still more expensive than Subway. Charlie's lost a customer. I'll just go to Subway and save a few bucks.....UPDATE. I'm upping my review because their still better than subway, even if the subs are same size.
